5. Type in the user name (that is admin) and default password (which most probably “password”).
6. Press Enter or click on OK to proceed.
7. The Router Manager window will appear with many tabs and settings.
8. Go to the Maintenance tab, select the Set Password menu item.

9. Type in the old, default password (again, which is most probably password). And then type in a new password :: twice. Make sure your new password is not so common and only trusted member know your router’s password.
10. Click on the Apply button.
Note: Whenever you input the ip, do not give spaces like this: 192 168 1 1 . Use dots like this: 192.168.1.1.
