Unable to Access Router Login Page

So, you entered your default router login ip and got back a blank page or no result. This can happen with users ( Unable to Access Router ) and most of the times it’s a simple work around that will put it back to work. First thing first, check that if you entered the correct default gateway of your router. Like for example the most common default ip of routers is 192.168.1.1. So, try entering 192.168.1.1 and check if you can access or not.

If you are reading this that means you still cannot access router’s login page. I hope you at least know the brand name of your device. Below is the list of the most popular router companies with their default ip to access the config page:

Try the different IP’s given the table above according to your brand. Got access? Yes? Congrats! 🙂 No? Ok then lets try the third method.

The third option is resetting your router. I recommend you to do it if any of the above thing does not work. To do this, press and hold the Reset button for 10 or 30 seconds depends the type (brand) of router you are using.  Below is a image which is a collage of different and their location of reset button. In most cases router button can only be pressed with a paper clip or pen or any other pointed (thin) object.

NOTE: Resetting your router to its default factory settings and will also reset your router’s password (That is why I recommend this as the last option). The router’s default password is “admin” as for the username (but may vary cause different companies use different username and password for default.), just leave the field blank.

After reset everything will go back to the factory settings and you have to configure your router again (In case you have a already configured router).
